Malta International Airport plc published the April 2008 traffic results on 7 May. The statistics show a 4.5% rise in passenger departures during April 2008 to 122,522 passengers (April 2007: 117,212).
During the first four months of the year passenger departures grew by 16.1%, representing an increase of 54,234 passengers.
