On 15 June, Bank of Valletta plc announced that its Chairman Mr Roderick Chalmers will resign from his post due to personal reasons connected with the recent loss of a close member of his family.
In the Company Announcement, BOV noted that Mr Chalmers stated that he was at the Minister’s disposal to effect a smooth handover to whoever the Government elected to appoint in his stead and to provide whatever assistance was required and necessary to secure an orderly transition.
