Malta International Airport plc - MIA announces outsourcing of its advertising

On 10 August Malta International Airport plc announced that as from January 2011, International Airport Advertising Corporation Ltd will be taking over the advertising programme on MIA’s premises. MIA stated that in line with its strategy to highly improve the airport’s standards, it identified the need to maximize on its advertising potential and sought the support of a specialized operator with a high repute in airport advertising – International Airport Advertising Corporation Ltd (IAAC).

The advertising company, IAAC, was recently set up to serve the requisites of MIA and it will be working closely with their strategic partners, Clear Channel Airports (CCA) to enhance sales at the airport by introducing the latest media available on the market through a €1 million investment plan. MIA explained that this investment will also further enhance the standards of the terminal area.

MIA plc, through IAAC will be joining a high profile array of airports featuring on the CCO list which includes: Zurich, Helsinki, Larnaca, Birmigham and Rotterdam.
