Grand Harbour Marina plc - 40-metre Berth Sale

On 5 January, Grand Harbour Marina plc announced on its website that it concluded the sale of a 40-metre super-yacht berth at the Grand Harbour Marina in Malta. However, the press release did not disclose the price at which the berth was sold. This latest sale follows the two 30-metre berths sold in 2011 for a total consideration of just under €1 million.

GHM’s berth Sales Consultant, Anna Tabone, explained that these sales “confirm that Malta continues to be well regarded in the industry”.

The sales and marketing director of Camper & Nicholsons commented, “Malta’s Grand Harbour Marina has clearly established itself as a destination of choice, not only for super-yacht owners, but for captains and crew.  The package of strong financial, tax and operating benefits have certainly underpinned recent berth purchase decisions. But it’s the exceptional year-round weather, natural beauty, historic architecture, rich culture and comfortable Mediterranean lifestyle that has visiting super-yachts returning for more, with owners acquiring a berth.”
