LifeStar Holding plc - Full-Year Results

On 30 April 2025, LifeStar Holding plc published its Annual Report and Financial Statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2024.  The financial statements for 2023 were restated to correct for a prior period error in accordance with IAS 8.

The Group’s largely reflect the performance of its largest subsidiary LifeStar Insurance plc.

The financial statements of LifeStar Holding provide a segmental analysis which shows that investment and advisory services generated an operating loss of €0.15 million, the business of insurance segment registered an operating loss of €0.54 million, agency services generated an operating profit of €0.38 million, and property services registered an operating loss of €0.58 million. After accounting for eliminations of €0.42 million and other expenses of €0.45 million, LifeStar Holding registered a pre-tax loss of €0.91 million (2023: loss of €0.04 million). After accounting for a tax credit of €0.31 million and a loss attributable to non-controlling interest of €0.16 million, LifeStar Holding reported a loss attributable to shareholders of €0.44 million (2023: loss of €0.24 million).

In terms of financial position, the total assets as at the end of 2024 amounted to €152 million whilst total liabilities totalled €136 million. Meanwhile, shareholders’ funds amounted to €9.78 million, which translates into a net asset value of €0.406 per share.
