GO plc - Forthnet Update

In recent days, Forthnet S.A., the Greek telecommunications Group in which GO plc has an indirect investment, issued a number of announcements regarding changes to its shareholder structure.

On 23 July, Forthnet announced that Cryte Investments GPI B.V. sold its entire shareholding of 3,333,073 shares, equivalent to 25.73% of the share capital of Forthnet. At the same time, Forthnet was informed that Zesmero Limited (a Cypriot based company ultimately owned by Fine Life Group Ltd) acquired a total of 3,503,073 shares, equivalent to 27.04% of the total Forthnet shares outstanding. As a result, Zesmero Limited is now the second largest shareholder of Forthnet after Forgendo Limited (a joint-venture between GO plc and its largest shareholder, Emirates International Telecommunications LLC) which owns 41.27% of Forthnet.

Subsequently, on 25 July, Forthnet announced that it has been informed that WIND Hellas Telecommunications SA has an option to acquire these 3,503,073 shares owned by Zesmero Limited.
