Mediterranean Investments Holding plc - Cancellation of bonds

On 23 September 2011, the Malta Stock Exchange announced that the following bonds were repurchased by Mediterranean Investments Holding plc from bondholders and subsequently cancelled:

• MIH repurchased €243,030 (nom) of its 7.5% Mediterranean Investments Holding plc 2014 bonds. Following this buy back, the total amount of outstanding bonds has been reduced to €14.8 million;
• MIH repurchased €350,400 (nom) of its 7.5% Mediterranean Investments Holding plc 2015 bonds reducing the total amount of outstanding bonds to €19.6 million;
• MIH repurchased €247,800 (nom) of its 7.15% Mediterranean Investments Holding plc 2017 EUR bonds. The total amount of outstanding bonds has been reduced to €28.5 million;
• MIH repurchased £34,800 (nom) of its 7.15% Mediterranean Investments Holding plc 2017 GBP bonds reducing the total amount of outstanding bonds to £4.35 million;
• MIH repurchased $96,200 (nom) of its 7.15% Mediterranean Investments Holding plc 2017 USD bonds. Following this buy back, the total amount of outstanding bonds has been reduced to $7.1 million.
