6pm Holdings plc - New contract with NHS Hospital

On 18 June, 6pm Holdings plc issued a press release revealing a new major contract for an unspecified value with St. George’s Healthcare NHS Trust, a hospital serving a population of 1.3 million across southwest London covering also most of Surrey and Sussex (totalling around 3.5 million people) with respect to certain services. Moreover, St. George’s is one of the UK’s principal teaching hospitals.

The contract relates to the delivery of an integrated electronic document management and paper management solution supported by radio frequency identity (RFID) tags. The press release explained that the new system will result in immediate savings with respect to the entire file management process whilst also releasing clinic staff from these administrative duties allowing them to dedicate more time with patients.
