On 17 November 2023, Phoenicia Finance Company plc announced that it filed an application with the Malta Financial Services Authority requesting admissibility to listing of a Bond Issue.
Subject to regulatory approval, Phoenicia will be issuing up to €50 million 5.75% unsecured bonds maturing in 2028-2033.
A nominal amount of €20 million will be made available for subscription to authorised financial intermediaries entering into a placement agreement with the company.
Furthermore, holders of the €25 million 4.15% bonds 2023-2028 will be eligible to apply for the remaining €30 million nominal. Holders of the bond as at 21 November 2023 will be eligible to subscribe to the offering by surrendering their holding and may also apply for additional Bonds. Consequently, trading in existing Phoenicia bonds will be suspended after 21 November 2023. Any balance which is not subscribed by existing bondholders will be subject to an intermediaries offer.
Further details on the issue will be published once regulatory approval is obtained.
